AÌMA means “Blood” in Greek.

A hand built vessel, made in communion with the Elements and in trust with the divine within. This ceramic vessel is completely one of a kind, crafted slowly and with intention.

In the process of its creation, it has been adorned with what I like to call “the blood of Mother Earth” - a rusty, iron-rich red pigment, which I collect here in the cretan mountains.

MATERIAL

Native cretan terracotta clay, adorned with earth pigment. The interior has been glazed with a non-toxic transparent, water-like glaze.
